Welcome to my kawaii art world! I'm Auni (Aunidoll) — a Los Angeles-based artist, illustrator and content creator passionate about bringing colorful, magical worlds to life.

Here you'll find my portfolio of digital art and illustrations, blog posts about my creative journey, and a shop with kawaii merchandise. Aunidoll is part of Aunimeda Digital Studio.

What I make

Most of what I draw is character work: original characters, fan art, and the worlds they live in. Some pieces start as a quick sketch on my phone and grow into a finished illustration over a week; others stay sketches on purpose. I put both kinds in the portfolio and write about how they came together on the blog, because the process is usually more interesting than the final file.

The app I draw with

I didn't find a drawing app that worked the way I wanted, so we built one: AuniDraw, for iPhone, iPad and Android. It has pressure- and tilt-sensitive brushes, layers with blend modes, selections and filters, and it records a timelapse of every session. It's free.

Drawing together

The art contest is open to anyone, anywhere, at no cost. The one rule is that the piece has to be drawn in AuniDraw — the app keeps a record of how the drawing was made, and the site checks that record against the image, so nobody can enter someone else's work. Entries live in the community gallery with the timelapse next to them.
